Chronic Pain Assessment

About This Assessment

Chronic pain is fundamentally different from acute pain. After three to six months, pain that persists usually involves changes in the nervous system, psychological adaptation, and lifestyle accommodations that all maintain the pain experience.

Treating chronic pain effectively requires understanding all of these factors β€” which is exactly what our Chronic Pain Assessment is designed to do.

Conducted by a physician with specialty training in pain medicine, often supplemented by psychological and physiotherapy assessment, our evaluations follow the biopsychosocial model that produces the best evidence-based outcomes.
